Wearable History! The Magnificent “National Costume” at Miss Universe Thailand 2025
The stage of Miss Universe Thailand 2025: The New Era was set ablaze with cultural pride as the National Costume Competition unfolded at MGI Hall, Bravo BKK Rama 9. The event was organized by Miss Grand International Public Company Limited (MGI), led by Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil, President of Miss Universe Thailand & Vice President of Miss Universe Asiana.
All 77 contestants proudly showcased their provincial costumes—masterpieces created by Thai designers who intricately combined heritage textiles, craftsmanship, and storytelling. Each design reflected the beauty, values, and deep-rooted identity of Thailand, all vying for the prestigious title of Best National Costume, sponsored by Numju Vitamin Whitening Lotion and Rachi Body Bright UV Protection.
The evening dazzled with breathtaking stage production, vibrant performances, and resounding cheers from fans. The show opened with Paweensuda Drouin (Fahsai) as the host, warmly welcoming distinguished guests and supporters, before unveiling a spectacular runway that quickly became the Talk of the Town.
Fans also play a role in shaping the results, as the TOP 20 National Costumes will be selected—10 by public votes via Miss Universe Thailand’s official Facebook and Instagram, and 10 by the judging panel. The ultimate winner will be announced during the Final Competition on August 23, 2025, broadcast live on Grand TV.
The night also featured the Inspire U to the Universe: Final Round, where the Top 10 finalists delivered a 3-minute speech and answered a special question from Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil. The winner earned 100,000 THB in prize money and an automatic spot in the Top 18.
